While the world of bioinformatics is rapidly rising, there are still issues concerning: 

• On whether bioinformatics data should be included in medical records,

• the misuse of sequence data or electronic health records,

• who has the right to view and access personal genetic data,

• if anybody own pieces of our genome through patents, copyrights, etc,

• how do we best organize the data,

• and will there be copyright issues with the discoveries of new algorithms or technology.
